Work Experience

In addition to teaching leadership and organizational behavior and development as a visiting professor to different graduate schools and seminaries, life of James Chang is dedicated to contributing success of others. Much of his works outside of academic world involve within the frame work of network marketing industry – consulting companies, mentoring and coaching business leaders as a master trainer.

His network marketing life began 1985, at the age of 21, with A.L. Williams. Not only meeting financial needs, he was blessed by being recruited by top leaders of industry and have trainings and experiences. He was also a member of Global Advisory Board of a globally well known company’s organization and successfully launched products and training programs and grew his organization in 15 different countries. Through his life in network marketing, he learned and understands the true value of network marketing and what it can do for hard working average people. Now he strives to become a force for positive change by contributing to success of others who are willing to learn and discipline themselves to reach their purpose in life.

As a part of his contributions for others’ success, he has NetworkProKorea.com where leaders in the industry can learn, refresh, and get training ideas for their own businesses. His writings, videos, and teaching concepts and materials are also shared through his Facebook Group (Network Marketing Leaders Forum, as of December of 2020, it has about 250 leaders from 50+ MLM companies in S. Korea). In addition to providing on-line learning space and mentoring & coaching leaders in the industry, he led many leadership & followership workshops, spoke as motivational speaker for many different companies. All efforts were to serve network marketing industry in Korea, and his love and passion for the people in the industry are well demonstrated in his past foot steps.

In the business of providing mentoring, consulting on organizational culture, company training, HR training curriculum development for companies in Network Marketing Industry as well as to those outside of the industry.

Project L.E.A.D., Co-Founder & HS 90 Mentoring Program Developer
(2017 ~ Current)
It is a non-profit organization that is working closely with selected high schools in Arizona, helping youth at risk by providing mentoring and discipline programs that are designed to help finding their purpose in life and guiding them as they grow into adulthood.

Melaleuca, Group Leader of GMW Group
(2008 – 2019)
Gave birth to Global Melaleuca Winners Group and led the company to expand into major cities in South Korea. The group grew to have presence in six different countries and developed several 6 figure income earning leaders.

NuSkin Enterprise, One Team Global Member of Advisory Board
(2002 – 2005)
Worked as a member of One Team Global, a largest organization in NuSkin Enterprise, Advisory Board for Korea and as a pilot team leader bringing new products and trainings to different global markets.

Developed and customized customer care and billing software for clinics and restaurant businesses, along with helping to have online presence.
